Measurement of CO2 streams - Sampling and analysis for pipeline transportation

Abstract

The standard will describe the measurement methodologies to measure the level of impurities in the CO2 stream. It is a technical standard that standard will encompass measurement methods for pipeline transportation only. The standard will provide guidelines on available sampling and analysis technologies for measuring composition of the CO2 streams. The standard will also delineate the methodologies and requirements for quality assurance. It should be noted that the standard will not detail requirements for greenhouse gas emission reporting, which are covered by existing standards and by national regulations.
