Overview

DIN SPEC 55513 specifies evaluations for defect characteristics for tubes made of aluminum for cosmetic and pharmaceutical products and foodstuffs. This document defines requirements for quality assurance measures in tube production as well as acceptance and rejection criteria for suppliers and customers. The document has been prepared at Working Committee NA 115-02-08 AA "Tuben" ("Tubes") of DIN Standards Committee Packaging (NAVp) in cooperation with representatives from the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries.
