Thermal insulation and energy economy in buildings - Part 11: Minimum requirements to the durability of bond strength with adhesive tapes and adhesive masses for the establishment of airtight layers
Abstract
This document was prepared by the working committee NA 005-56-93 AA "Airtightness (SpA to CEN/TC 89/WG 15 and ISO/TC 163/SC 1/WG 10)" in the DIN Standards Committee for Construction (NABau). This document specifies minimum requirements for ensuring the durability of adhesive joints using adhesives to create airtight layers. The requirements for adhesives (e.g., adhesive tapes and sealants) apply to the creation of airtight layers in accordance with DIN 4108-7, which, when used as intended—except during the construction phase—are not exposed to outdoor weathering or direct UV exposure.
