Overview
This document specifies the test methods and documentation requirements for speed-dependent and speed-independent drop protection devices for manually-operated and power-operated gates and barriers and for the design feature for safe holding of gate leaves by drive units according to DIN EN 12604:2021-05 and DIN EN 12453:2022-08. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-09-05 AA "Tore" ("Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
