Pliers and nippers - Slip joint pliers - Dimensions and test values (ISO 9343:2021); Text in German and English
Abstract
This document contains the main dimensions for combination tongs with slip joint as well as the test values for the gripping tongs to check their functional capability according to ISO 5744. The general technical requirements are specified in ISO 5743. The combination tongs with sliding joint shown in this document serve only as examples and are not intended to limit the manufacturer's design options. The International Standard ISO 9343:2021 was prepared by the Technical Committee ISO/TC 29/SC 10, "Assembly tools for screws and nuts, pliers and nippers" with the participation of German experts from the Standards Committee NA 121 "Tools and Clamping Devices" (FWS) of the Working Committee NA 121-05-11 AA "Pliers".
