This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-34 AA "Anforderungen an Heizöle und Schifffahrtsbrennstoffe" ("Requirements for fuel oils and marine fuels") of the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies requirements and tests for viscous fuel oils SA suitable for use in oil-firing installations with preheaters for fuel preparation, and which require preheating for transport, storage and combustion.
