Tissue paper and tissue products - Part 5: Determination of wet tensile strength (ISO 12625-5:2016); German version EN ISO 12625-5:2016

Title (German)

Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkte - Teil 5: Bestimmung der breitenbezogenen Nassbruchkraft (ISO 12625-5:2016); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 12625-5:2016

Overview

This part of ISO 12625 specifies a test method for the determination of the wet tensile strength of tissue paper and tissue products after soaking with water, using a tensile-strength-testing apparatus operating with a constant rate of elongation. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 172 "Pulp, paper and board" in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 6 "Paper, board and pulps". The secretariat of CEN/TC 172 is provided by DIN Standards Committee Paper, board and pulps (NPa). The decisive committee within CEN/TC 172 is WG 8 "Specification for test methods for soft tissue paper", which is chaired by Germany. Representatives of the Standards Committee "Paper, board and pulps" participated in the preparation of this document. The national mirror committee here is NA 074-02-05 AA "Prüfverfahren für Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkte" ("Test methods for tissue paper and tissue products").
