Overview

This product standard specifies the requirements for four types of flexible thermoplastic hose, textile reinforced, for compressed-air applications in the temperature range from -10 °C to +60 °C. A distinction is made between light, medium and heavy duty applications. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen (Spiegelgremium zu CEN/TC 218, ISO/TC 45/SC 1)" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 218, ISO/TC 45/SC 1)") at DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
