Overview

This European Standard is applicable to emergency parachutes deployed by the action of the pilot without any other assistance (mechanical or pyrotechnic), intended for use with single-seater or two-seater paragliders. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 112-03-11 AA "Gleitschirme" ("Paragliders") at DIN. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 112-03-11 AA "Gleitschirme" ("Paragliders") at DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment (NASport).
