DIN 1164-10
Special cement - Part 10: Composition, requirements and conformity evaluation for cement with low effective alkali content

Title (German)

Zement mit besonderen Eigenschaften - Teil 10: Zusammensetzung, Anforderungen und Übereinstimmungsnachweis von Zement mit niedrigem wirksamen Alkaligehalt

Overview

This document specifies - together with the requirements for common cements in DIN EN 197-1 - the characteristics of cement constituents with low effective alkali content and their proportions necessary to produce corresponding cement type, compositions and strength classes. Furthermore it contains the necessary requirements for mechanical, physical and chemical characteristics of these types and strength classes as well as regulations for the conformity evaluation with these requirements. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 1164-10:2004-08: a) cement with high-sulfate resistance has been deleted; b) the title of the standard has been modified. The standard has been prepared by NA 005-07-13 AA "Zement" ("Concrete") at the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee.
