Overview

For ensuring a common speech intelligibility between parties dealing with in security management transport infrastructures, the main technical terms in the project are mandatorily specified by unique definitions and distinguished from neighbouring terms. The security management for transport infrastructures is the thematic basis of this specification. In this context, security management generally deals with planning, management, control and improvement of security - for example, of people, enterprises, technical systems, buildings or infrastructures. Such transport infrastructures exist for various modes of transport, such as road traffic, rail traffic, inland navigation, maritime shipping and air traffic.
