DIN 22100-7
Articles and materials from synthetics for use in underground mines - Part 7: Safety requirements, testing, marking

Title (German)

Betriebsmittel und Betriebsstoffe aus Kunststoffen zur Verwendung in Bergwerken unter Tage - Teil 7: Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen, Prüfungen, Kennzeichnung

Overview

The safety requirements and tests for fire protection, hygienic and electrostatic properties for articles from synthetics for use in underground mines are specified. The plastics in question are, for example, V-belts, flat belts, timing belts, belt repair materials, wiping strips, friction linings and similar. DIN 22100-7 replaces the test specifications for articles from synthetics for use in underground mines (test specifications for plastics) of 1981-12-15 in the version of 1993-03-19 of the former Landesoberbergamt Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia Mining Inspectorate). The contents of Parts 1 to 6 of DIN 22100 are tied together by references. This Part 7 has therefore a superordinate function in formal terms. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-07-05 AA "Kunststoffe" ("Synthetics") of FABERG.
