Joint working committee NHRS/DKE: Electrical safety and control devices for heating appliances and heat generating systems (Mirror committee CEN/TC 58/WG 12, CEN/TC 58/WG 14)
NA 041-03-31 GA "Joint working group NHRS/DKE: Electrical safety and control devices for heating applications and heat generating systems (Mirror committee CEN/TC 58/WG 12, CEN/TC 58/WG 14)" of the DIN Standards Committee Heating and Ventilation Technology and their Safety is tasked to process standards and standardization projects with respect to safety, construction, and performance requirements as well as tests of electronic control devices for heating applications and heat generating systems controls. The field of activity of NA 041-03-31 GA covers the following controls, including their devices: - Fuel/air ratio controls, electronic types; - Pressure sensing devices; - Electric ignition devices; - Automatic burner control systems; - Combustion product sensing devices; - Temperature control devices and temperature limiters; - Valve proving systems for automatic shut-off valves. In cooperation with the committee DKE/K 515 "Controls" the joint working group also mirrors the revision of the burner control standard IEC 60730-2-5 of the working group IEC/TC 72/WG 1 "Burner controls and maintenance of 60730-2-5". In its field of expertise the NA 041-03-31 GA acts as a German mirror committee at the European standardization for the European working groups CEN/TC 58/WG 12 and CEN/TC 58/WG 14.
