ConCirMy

Configurator for the Circular Economy

The aim of the "ConCirMy" project is to develop a configurator adapted to the needs of the circular economy using the example of tire production. This favors closed material or component flows in order to be able to ensure a complete recycling of occurring material flows. In particular, ConCirMy focuses on efficient planning and control within the circular economy for the synchronization of processes and output between individual actors, which is facilitated by a flow of information across stages and cycles. It uses the Industry 4.0 paradigm of integrated material and product-accompanying data logistics. In addition, the approach of a networked incentive system is pursued, whereby actors are allocated a share of the total benefit through redistribution, depending on the sustainability of individual decisions. This makes the production of a sustainable product more attractive. The configurator itself acts as a merging core system.

DIN is responsible for the standardization within the project and will accompany not only a search for relevant standards in the field of circular economy but also the transfer of the project results into the development of new standards or in existing European and international standardization activities.
