The document encompasses the interaction of various actors in urban districts and the necessary interfaces. The DIN SPEC addresses initiators of urban neighborhood projects and serves as a guideline for the modern implementation of a neighborhood management system. This DIN SPEC does not focus on sectoral technologies and services that are already covered in existing standards, rather on their systematic interaction.
