Work equipment and installations
The working committee NA 149-00-06 AA "Work equipment and installations" is responsible for the development of standards for work equipment and installations in entertainment technology, television, stage and photography, which are neither machines nor electrical devices. Such installations are e. g. technical ceilings and grids, platforms and platform types and flaps and set constructions. Work equipment comprises e. g. elements for fastening, connecting and lifting and safety elements for portable light, image, sound and effects equipment. Related safety requirements, load assumptions, fire safety issues in regard to temporary equipment, properties, and decorations used on stages as well as fire safety issues for stage scenery are an essential part of the standardization work.
