Overview
This standard applies to flanges used in exhaust pipes of combustion engines and steam boilers on ships and specifies the dimensions of permissible materials and types of construction. In the DIN 86044 series of standards, a distinction is made between a heavy and a light version. In this part of the standard, specifications have been made for the heavy-duty version.
