This document has been prepared by Joint Working Committee NA 062-03-32 GA "Bitumen; Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen für die Bindemittel" ("Bitumen; test methods and specifications of binders") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) and of the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN. This document specifies a method for the determination of the dynamic viscosity of bituminous binders in the temperature range in which these binders behave like Newtonian fluid. The method does not apply for test samples containing fillers. The viscosity-temperature behaviour can be determined from the viscosities measured at various temperatures.
