The German committee NA 062-08-24 AA "Electrical and magnetic testing methods" deals with national, European and international standards, which focus basic requirements for the selection, characterization and operation of equipment for non-destructive testing (NDT) using electrical and magnetic methods - in particular eddy current and magnetic particle testing - and their applications. It is a mirror committee for CEN/TC 138/WG 3 "Eddy current testing", CEN/TC 138/WG 5 "Magnetic particle testing" and ISO/TC 135/SC 4 "Eddy current testing" and cooperates in the field of magnetic particle testing with the German committee NA 062-08-25 AA "Penetrant testing" and its mirror committee ISO/TC 135/SC 2 "Surface methods".
