NA 062-05-52 AA "Chemical test methods for leather" develops chemical test standards as well as requirement standards for leather and tanning chemicals. Relevant environmental aspects are also taken into account. It is solely responsible for the development of the corresponding national standards and acts as a mirror committee to CEN/TC 289/WG 1 "Chemical test methods", CEN/TC 289/WG 6 "Test methods for tannery chemicals" and to IULTCS-IUC "International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies - Chemistry Commission".
