Overview
DIN 16001 specifies requirements for pressure gauges with Bourdon tubes in coil form for measuring pressures for high pressure applications. It applies to pressure gauges that have a dial with a scale and a pointer, as well as for display ranges greater than 1 600 bar to 10 000 bar and for nominal sizes 100 and 160. It contains specific test procedures for conducting type and production tests. DIN 16001 also applies to liquid-filled pressure gauges, but is not intended for use with oxygen or acetylene.
