Mechanical vibration and shock - Hand-arm vibration - Measurement and evaluation of the vibration transmissibility of gloves at the palm of the hand - Amendment 2 (ISO 10819:2013/Amd2)
Abstract
The document defines a laboratory measuring procedure by means of which values characterizing the vibration transmissibility of gloves can be found. The measurement conditions are typical for work situations: A test person with a glove grips a vibrating handle and the transmitted vibration is measured on the inner surface of the glove. The feed force and the grip force are determined. The evaluation is done in the frequency range between 25 Hz to 1250 Hz. A procedure for measuring the thickness of the vibration reducing material of the glove is also specified. With this amendment a new Annex C "Complementary test procedure for verification of the gaps (interspace) in the vibration reducing material" will be included.
