Overview

This Technical Specification describes a procedure for the qualitative detection of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) in chocolate using real-time PCR based on the gene for the peanut allergen Ara h 2. This document (CEN/TS 15634-4:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 275 "Food analysis - Horizontal methods", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 057-01-05 AA "Lebensmittelallergene" ("Food allergens") at DIN Standards Committee Food and Agricultural Products (NAL).
