Hose assemblies for stainless steel for gas — Connections
Abstract
This document specifies the permitted national connections for hose assemblies according to DIN EN 16617 for gases of the second and third families according to DIN EN 437 and DVGW G 260 (but not for liquefied gas in the liquid phase) with a nominal diameter up to and including DN 300 and a maximum permissible operating pressure less than or equal to 1.6 MPa (16 bar). NOTE: It is advised that for gas hose assemblies according to this standard, which are intended for a MOP of more than 500 hPa (0.5 bar), the applicable regulations of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU must be fulfilled. The revision is based on DIN 3384:2007-08. All requirements and tests that are specified in DIN EN 16617:2015-07 have been deleted in the present document and supplemented by connections that are not listed in DIN EN 16617:2015-07.
