Overview
The ALERT Plus function is a compatible extension of the ALERT C function and makes it possible to use RDS-TMC broadcast status-orientated information. This information is related to: - road traffic, travel time, etcetera; - current car park occupancy; - public transport, such as travel time, etcetera. Users of this engineering standard are primarily manufacturers of infotainment and navigation manufacturers as well as broadcasting companies and travel service providers.
