Abstract
This document specifies dimensions and designs for blind flanges according to DIN EN 1092 1 Type 05 with cladding made of media-resistant materials, e.g. 1.4571 or nickel-based alloy. The document is to be applied for nominal sizes DN 125 to DN 500 in the range of PN stages 10 to PN stage 40 in the p/T rating specified for this purpose according to DIN EN 1092-1. These blind flanges are preferably used for closing pipe spigots according to DIN 28025 on vessels or apparatus which are primarily used for process engineering purposes. Other designs may be agreed between the customer and the manufacturer, but the basis is the connection dimensions according to DIN EN 1092-1.
