Overview
The standard specifies the basic quantities, symbols and units to be used for pressure equipment and assemblies addressed by the European Directive 97/23/EC. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 54 "Unfired pressure vessels", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German committee is NA 012-00-05 AA "Unfired pressure vessels" of the Chemical Apparatus Standards Committee.
