Overview
This European Standard applies to transportable combined mitre and bench saws with a saw blade diameter not exceeding 315 mm and intended for cutting wood and analogous materials, plastics and non-ferrous materials except magnesium. The following modifications have been made with regard to DIN EN 61029-2-11 (VDE 0740-511):2013-06: the requirement for the operating condition of the saw aggregate after completion of the test in accordance with 18.Z106 has been incorporated. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
