This International Standard applies to basic safety and essential performance for infant incubators. Hazards resulting from the intended physiological mode of operation of devices or systems in the scope of this standard are not covered by special requirements in this standard. Adaptation to Amendment A2 of 60601-1 and the corresponding supplementary standards.
