Urbane Mobilitätsdatensammlung für Echtzeitapplikationen

Titel (englisch)

Urban mobility data collection for real-time applications

Einführungsbeitrag

A proposal has been received to develop a DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure dealing with "Urban mobility data collection for real-time applications". Currently the business plan is published for 4 weeks from 30th October 2017 to 27th November 2017 on the DIN Website for comments. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within workshops set up on a temporary basis. This document will be developed and approved by authors named in the business plan. This DIN SPEC describes data models, data access and data interfaces in traffic management systems, public transportation, logistics, infrastructure (e. g. Humble Lampposts), floating car data and similar mobility management systems. The focal point is on horizontal, i.e. cross-sectoral integration or the interoperability with existing (IoT) infrastructure, such as "smart" street furniture, smart road users (e. g. the connected car), smart mobile devices or also smart properties. In addition, this DIN SPEC (PAS) describes both access and licence formats whose commercial application is intended to enable cities to benefit from the economic growth resulting from the digitalization of mobility. This DIN SPEC (PAS) is aimed at mobility providers, commercial transport, municipalities and public transportation providers.
