Abstract

This part of IEC 61851-3 (in a first step as Technical Specification for three-year period) together with part 1 of IEC 61851, applies to the equipment for the conductive transfer of electric power between the supply network to an light electric (road) vehicle (LEV) for purposes of supply electric power from/to it and/or maintaining other on-vehicle electrical systems in an operational state when connected to the supply network and applies to the equipment for the conductive transfer of electric power from/to the supply network to a removable RESS and/or battery system of a LEV for purposes of supply electric power to it when connected to the supply network, at standard supply voltages per IEC 60038 with a rated voltage up to 1 000 V AC and up to 1 500 V DC.
