DIN is the partner for businesses and other organizations in Germany when it comes to standardization. By participating in standards committees and other DIN bodies companies have access to standards work at the European and international level in organizations such as CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, ISO and IEC.
Being a self-managing organ of the German economic sector, DIN is the logical partner for private enterprises active in Germany in all questions of standardization. Participation in DIN standards committees gives businesses access to committees in the European and international standards organizations CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, ISO and IEC, thus allowing small and medium-sized enterprises to influence standardization at the European and international level.
DIN is the meeting place for all stakeholders in standardization. Here, business people come face to face with their customers, suppliers and competitors, as well as representatives from testing institutes, public agencies or research organizations, thus profiting from the knowledge offered by all sides.
