Delegation from Russia and the Ukraine visit DIN
Visitors especially interested in standardization and quality management
(2010-06-01) On 28 May a group of 22 young managers from Russia and the Ukraine visited DIN to learn about German standardization, particularly in quality management. The group of participants from a wide variety of economic sectors is visiting Germany as part of a manager training programme led by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). The objective of the programme is to help the participants develop key competencies by gaining practical insights into German corporate culture and by learning about the German standardization system and the role of DIN in quality management standardization, especially as regards DIN EN ISO 9001. The visit was followed by a tour of DIN's "Normenwerk" permanent exhibition.
